Just wanted to share a little bit of my personal life with y’all…We have started construction on our NEW HOUSE!

My HUBS will be happy to see all my endless hours of “research” on PINTEREST 

go to work! HA!

SORRY! my sweet family for NEVER cooking, cleaning and makin’ sure the laundry has been kept up… you will thank me later when I have PINTERIZED our home! BAHAHAHA

Howdy y'all!

I FINALLY did it....I started the first of many BLOGS to come....I hope!

Let's see, I guess I should start with something about lil' ole' me...I am a 1st grade dual language teacher in TX. This is my second year teaching 1st grade dual language. I feel very BLESSED to have the BEST job ever! I absolutely adore my "FIRSTIES"! 

I have been blessed with four beautiful children of my own....Savannah (16), Serena (11), Saraya (7), and my sweet lil' handsome son JAX (4). I am married to an AMAZING man who I thank God for everyday! I feel very blessed to have the life I share with my family!

I started this this dual language educational blog to help inform parents, teachers and future parents of a 2 Way Dual Language Program what it may "look like" in a dual language classroom. 


I teach the English component of our dual program. I hope that by starting this blog it will help with the sharing of resources and ideas for a dual language setting. 


I also believe it's a great opportunity to show the AMAZING opportunities a dual language program has to offer. 


I plan to share what our FIRSTIES are doing in both classrooms. How EXCITING!

Another first for me this year... I get a STUDENT TEACHER this semester! YAY! I am soooo super duper EXCITED! 

Every once in a while God puts those lil' extra blessing in your life to remind you of how much he loves you! 

Elise is an AMAZING young woman....We already have a special friendship! After all it's not every day you meet someone you connect with on every level! We will be lifelong friends for SUUURRREEE!!!!
